Hi, I'm Haulwen Nicholas author of The Book Of Personality Tests which was published in September 2020 in English by Wellfleet Press (an imprint of Quarto group) and is now being published in languages across the world by the world-renown Quarto Knows Press.
I adore writing and I always thought my first book would be a children's magical fantasy, but when I got approached by Quarto in 2019 to write a book about personality tests, (because I am a trained Myers-Briggs practitioner) it was an opportunity I couldn't miss.
I adore personality-type tests and find them intriguing, so it was not only a great pleasure but a great honour to write this book.
So, what is in the pipeline. I have some more self-development books I am working on which links to my work as the Magical Mojo Coach (Wytch) - life coaching with a hint of witchery. Watch this space for more news. or check out my Magical Mojo Coach website to find out about my membership site.
I'm also thinking about writing something on packaging and the environment but that's still in the ideas stage. Check out my Packaging Oracle website to see what I do.
I have a head buzzing with ideas and many stories in progress for children's and adult magical realism stories and some pure fantasy. These stories are somewhat unhappy I keep neglecting them so I'll be giving them some focus soon.
As to me, well I live on the magical Welsh borderlands, where unicorns, fairies, witches, and magical creatures travel between the realms. Here I live with my own magical beings my cats Saffron (Saffy) and Seren and my ever-supportive husband (he's human) Steve. (All the S's!)
I am a hippy, gypsy, fairy wytch and I conjure stories in my mad home, full of books, everything Alice (I'm a big Alice in Wonderland fan), Dr. Marten boots and clothes.
Playing dress-up is one of my favourite past times.
I write to stay sane, as my head is bursting with characters wanting to tell their stories.
I'm very fortunate to have been accepted into the Golden Egg Academy and I'm a member of SCWBI.
I'm also an Ambassador for Psychologies Magazine.
In 2017 I went self-employed so that I could devote more time to my true passion - writing.
I love long walks in the woods and by the river.
My favourite elements are Air and Water.
